Ella Mitchell is a content producer and communications professional with two decades of experience designing and producing visual and written communications.
She has produced screen content for ABC TV, ACCTA Awards, Monash University, Thames & Hudson and the Alannah and Madeleine Foundation. Online content for Google, Creative Victoria and the Stella Prize, event content for The Australian Film Institute and Film Victoria.
Melbourne born Ella has lived interstate and overseas. For two years she worked for the Japanese Government on cultural exchange, and as New Business and Marketing Manager for Emmy Award winning Iloura VFX she spent two months of each year travelling in China and South-East Asia. Prior to undertaking a media and communications degree at RMIT University, Ella lived in the Northern Territory and worked for D.E.E.T supporting the education of Indigenous children.
Before starting her own consulting and production agency Ella worked as Head of Communications for the national not-for-profit, Alannah & Madeline Foundation. The Foundation runs successful programs in one third of all Australian schools and more than 80% of public libraries supporting children affected by violence and bullying, supported by corporate partnerships with Google, Target, NAB and Richmond FC.
Ella’s personal work has been exhibited at Federation Square, Linden Gallery and included - by invitation - in the National Library of Australia’s archives. Projects that she has managed have been awarded by the Melbourne Design Awards, the Melbourne Art and Design Club (MADC) and Desktop's Magazine's Create Design Awards.
